Abstract Background Malignant Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one amongst the foremost widespread cancers within world. Dynamic contrast enhanced MR and recently added subtraction imaging technique improve assessment of ablated focal lesions. The aim this study evaluation role Subtraction MRI detection recurrent or residual viability after RF ablation. Results Fifty patients were conducted during retrospective study, all underwent RFA 76 lesions 1 month was then performed. images interpreted by two readers who are experienced primary reader standard blinded sequences; second both images. detected 49 resolved cases dynamic MRI, while activity 6 out via (added value). agreed with first 43 (agreement).The 27 MRI. disagreed 11 appeared 16 statistical analysis those results revealed big additive value ( P < 0.001) moderate degree agreement between 2 diagnostic tools (Kappa = 0.491).
